I moved to Orange over eight years ago having been transferred by Telstra to establish a new division called Telstra Country Wide. As Area General Manager I had responsibility for approximately 50 per cent of NSW travelling from Lithgow in the east to Camerons Corner where three states meet.

For the past twenty five years I have also run a sheep grazing property 30 kms south of Mudgee near Hargraves. My rural passion was the key reason for the approach by Telstra to start the new division. For relaxation I like to fly light aircraft, read and take photographs.

I have a keen interest in politics but I am not and never have been associated with any political party. I ran unsuccessfully for the Federal seat of Calare. I ran for Orange City Council in the hope of bringing a truly non political approach to the role of councilor. My aim is to facilitate within the current council an environment which focuses on the issues important to the residents of our city.
