Benjamin Levi Nelson was born C1813 in Fordon PRE, the son of Solomon Levy and Ellen Joel. He arrived in NSW on 16 November 1840. Benjamin was a storekeeper in Orange and signed the petition for Orange to become a municipality in 1859. He died in 1894 in Sydney.
